Panel Discussion A: Real Estate Data Management – Technology Driving Performance Optimisation
Moderator: Daniel Smith, Business Development Manager, Trimble
Panel: Nigel Bunclark (Guest Speaker), Michael High (NIES), Simon Blenkiron (Trimble) and Stephanie Bastrup Cummins (KMD)

Building investments and operations are often quoted as one of the most significant costs to any business. Data driven decisions help optimise energy consumption, space management and use of space for a more cost-efficient, environmentally friendly real estate portfolio. Yet “big data” remains an unclear concept for many real estate professionals, including those who stand to gain tremendously from it right now.

In this session, a panel of industry leaders and technology experts will discuss the challenges of effective data creation, management and application; and the role of technology in delivering a positive, quantifiable business outcome. Topics to be covered include assessment and benchmarking, analysis and planning, preventative maintenance and continuous improvement.

2.00pm
Panel Discussion B: From the Boardwalk to the Boardroom – Transforming Visitor Experience

Moderator: Joe Harris, Business Development Manager, Trimble
Panel: Mike Hook (LMG), Andrew Vizor (BT Facilities), Greg Mace (Rapport) and TBD

There's an old saying, you never get a second chance to make a first impression. An organisation’s first opportunity to engage and interact with a client (or a potential new client) is often front of house in the reception area. A visitor’s experience at the front desk can reflect positively or negatively on the business as a whole.

In this session, a panel of industry leaders and technology experts will explore the concept of “Unrivalled Client Experience”, best practices in managing the flow of visitors, software and hardware integrations, and the future of client experience.

"Mixing It Up" is an unusual hands-on workshop which presents and demonstrates new hardware and software technologies introduced this year by technology companies in London, Boston and the Silicon Valley, Some were designed for real estate and FM, while others were designed for different industries and applied now to the market’s needs.
